How old do I have to be for Piercings?
How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?

The legal age is 18 years old and photo ID is required. We do not accept parental consent for Tattoos.

How do I make an appointment for a Tattoo?

To book in an appointment you just need to pop in to the studio. A 50% deposit is required to secure the appointment.

Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE unless given at least 72 hours notice prior to appointment.

We do not make appointments via phone or social media as we need to collect the deposit and information regarding your tattoo design.

Consultations are available without a deposit. This allows you to have 1-1 time with an artist to go over your ideas and design. Just contact us to book in a consultation.

Do I need to make an appointment for my tattoo?

For smaller tattoos you can do them as a walk in here at Gemanji Ink. Walk in availability does depend from day to day depending on how many appointment have been made however we do try our best to keep one artist available. For larger work we strongly advise you book an appointment to avoid disappointment

For Tattoos that require to be designed or for larger tattoos an appointment is required.

How much does a tattoo cost?

The price for a tattoo differs from piece to piece depending on factors such as style, size, positioning and which artist will be doing the tattoo. Please contact us to get a estimated cost for your tattoo.

Can I use numbing cream?

In short YES. We do sell a numbing cream that we recommend using, we can not apply this for you, you need to apply yourself and we can not guarantee it will work or not cause adverse reactions so please do a test patch first. Many of our customers use our numbing cream from ‘The Numbing Cream co’ to help them through the tattoo especially for larger work. please ask one of us for more details.

How do I talk to someone about my tattoo ideas?

Contact us by phone, social media or email and we will help you through the process. You are also welcome to pop into the studio to see us to discuss ideas.
